Big Hawk's Widow Asks For Help In Solving Murder, ‘I Know Someone Knows So

The widow of late Houston rapper Big Hawk is asking the public to help her find her husband's killer.

Big Hawk, born John Edward Hawkins, was shot to death outside a friend’s house in Houston in 2006. To date, no witnesses have come forward and no clues have arisen.

“I know someone knows something on that street,” Meshah Hawkins told KHOU. “Someone had to be on that street that night listening, hearing voices, maybe seeing anything whatsoever that sticks out in their head.”

Anyone with any information that could help solve the murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713- 222- TIPS.

Big Hawk was a member of The Screwed Up Click. During his career, Hawk collaborated with Lil` Flip, Lil` KeKe, Big Moe and was featured on Lil` Troy’s hit 'Wanna Be A Baller.'

Hawk's younger brother, Fat Pat, was also a victim to gunfire. He was shot to death in 1998. Like his brother, Pat was also a rapper and a member of The Screwed Up Click. His murder also remains unsolved.
