Atlanta bred rapper Ludacris will be taking over the month of October by releasing his sixth solo album and appearing in three movies with blockbuster potential.

The film opens in theatres on October 17th and stars Mark Wahlberg. “This is the first time I've played any kind of police role,” Ludacris told Reuters. “It's funny . . . in most movies, Mark plays the dominant role but my character is the dominant one over Mark. That was a power thing and I absolutely loved it.” Luda will follow Max Payne by releasing his latest album titled Theater of the Mind on October 21st. The album will feature appearances from T-Pain, The Game and T.I., among others. The first single off the set is "What Them Girls Like" which features Chris Brown and Sean Garrett. “Theater of the Mind is all of my albums put together,” Ludacris explained.&nbs p; “There's the funny Ludacris, the serious Ludacris and the story-telling Ludacris as well as the movie-making Ludacris”. Ludacris will then end his October invasion by appearing in the crime caper RocknRolla which opens on October 31. “I have a new album and two movies coming out within two weeks of each other, so Mr. October is my new nickname,” Luda joked. |
