![]() Released: 07/12/94 Label: Ruthless Records RIAA: Gold Uncle Sam's Curse is Above The Law's fourth album. The album was released on July 12, 1994. Although many fans feel that this is the group's best album since it's rated #1 in best G-funk sound of all time. 1. Return of the Real Shit feat Kokane: Starts off with a sample of the movie Above The Law for about a minute and starts off with a decent G-Funk sound. I thought this track was ok. 2. Set Free: Probably one of my favorite tracks off of this album. The beat and the flow go great together. 3. YouTube - Above the Law ft. Kokane - Kalifornia: Another favorite of mine and this is one of the singles for this album. The beat is way dope and the lyrics are fire. The beat changes towards near of the song and it is still dope as fuck. I liked the music video, especially the beginning. 4. Concrete Jungle: Yet another favorite track of mine. Beat is solid and so are the lyrics. 5. Rain Be for Rain Bo feat Kokane: This song is pretty good. Just one of those good ass G-Funk songs. 6. Everything Will Be Alright feat Kokane: I thought this song was decent. Nothin special, but still good. 7. YouTube - Above The Law- Black Superman...: My all time favorite ATL track & also another single for this album. The beat is so fire that you wouldn't be able to touch it. The flow is just perfect for this track and the music video is tight. 8. The 'G' in Me: I liked the beat but I wasn't too crazy about there flow. Still a good song. 9. Uncle Sam's Curse: The beginning is hilarious (in my opinion) you will hear some KKK member singin. After that a dope beat comes in and the flow is tight. Another favorite ATL track for me. 10. One Time Two Many: Starts off with another sample from the movie Above The Law for about 20 seconds and then starts off with a dark beat and the flow is dope and yup.... this is another favorite track of mine. 11. Who Ryde feat Kokane & Tone Loc: I thought this beat was pretty crazy and did a well done job with it. This is a pretty good song. 12. Gangsta Madness: Yet another sample from the movie Above The Law for about 35 seconds and then a slow beat comes in with a acoustic guitar. This is the longest song on the track and I have to say......what a way to end an album like that. Overall I give this album.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() *Notes*: This is one of the best G-Funk albums I have ever heard in my entire life. I suggest you download/buy this CD and the rest of there discography because ATL is the shit, hands down. Only thing I wish is that they come out with more shit like they did back in the 90's. I really didn't like their recent album Sex, Money, & Music. I hate how 90's rap groups have to change there sound and relate to today's bullshit. Hopefully things will change in the 10's, but I doubt it. |

Thanks. I thought about reviewing BML but I had to choose the best ATL album. Since you are requesting it, I will review the album when I get back on here.
