Real Madrid will be without both Royston Drenthe and Miguel Torres for their match with Numancia this weekend, after neither player was included in the squad by Juande Ramos.

Marca reports that the coach has decided to leave the pair out, though he will have Fernando Gago at his disposal.

The Argentine picked up a knock against Deportivo La Coruña last weekend, but he has recovered well, and should be fit to play this Saturday evening.

Meanwhile, Guti, Jerzy Dudek and Dani Pareja have been training with the rest of the team but are still not fit to play, whilst Christoph Metzelder has been working in the gym.

The decicion to leave Drenthe out of the squad is certainly an interesting one by Ramos, considering the criticism the Dutchman has received lately from the Real Madrid fans.

However, the coach explained today that it is up to the player to change the minds of the crowd, and show them he is a talent.

"I have spoken with him a couple of times, he is a professional, and he has to accept the decisions of the fans," he mused.

"The fans are the club, and whatever is said must be confronted. He needs to try to change their opinion, because he is a very good player."

Real Madrid squad to face Numancia: Casillas, Codina, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Cannavaro, Heinze, Salgado, Marcelo, Lass, Gago, Robben, Sneijder, Javi García, Van der Vaart, Raúl, Higuaín, Huntelaar, Saviola.
