Tha Dogg Pound
Tha Dogg Pound, also known as D.P.G. (Dogg Pound Gangstaz), is a rap duo made up of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. They were signed to Death Row Records in their early careers and were key to the label's success. The group made their 1992 rap debut on Dr. Dre's The Chronic, on various songs. They also appeared on Snoop's classic Doggystyle, and the Death Row soundtracks Murder Was The Case and Above The Rim. Their debut album Dogg Food was released in 1995. It was another addition to the controversy of rap music due to the sexual and violent lyrics and went on to sell three million albums.
Kurupt and Daz went on to release solo albums starting in in 1998. They had both eventually left the crumbling Death Row Records in 1999 after Daz left due to long-lasting internal struggles on the label after friend and labelmate Tupac Shakur's murder in 1996. Kurupt started Antra Records, while Daz started D.P.G. Recordz. In 2002 a feud arose between the two when Kurupt decided to sign back with Death Row Records, upsetting everyone involved with the group. His awaited Death Row release Against Tha Grain had been postponed several times while Kurupt was on the label, later being released in August 2006, after he was off. In January 2005, Daz made another solo album release titled Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta LP. Tha Dogg Pound then got back together as a group and released Dillinger & Young Gotti II in November 2005. In 2006 Snoop Dogg decided to get involved and the three released their official reunion album Cali Iz Active.
An extended family, referred to as D.P.G.C. (short for Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips[citation needed]), has over time been made up of Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Nate Dogg, and Soopafly. The members of the DPGC are commonly featured on each other's albums and projects.

Dillinger & Young Gotti is an album by Tha Dogg Pound. It was released independently on Daz's Gangsta Advisory Records. It debuted at #124 on the billboard charts. Another Dogg Pound album was released that year. Death Row Records released 2002, a collection of unreleased material recorded by Tha Dogg Pound while they were signed to the label.

2002 is a compilation album by Tha Dogg Pound. It is made up of unreleased material recorded by Tha Dogg Pound while they were signed on to Death Row Records, remixed and updated by then-head producer Cold 187um[1]. Tha Dogg Pound were signed to Dillinger's D.P.G. Recordz and released their own album that year called Dillinger & Young Gotti. The album title is meant to imply it is a sequel or response of sorts to Dr. Dre's 2001.

Cali Iz Active is an album by Tha Dogg Pound and is also the name of the album's title track and lead single. It was released through Koch and Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle Records on June 27, 2006. It was leaked on the Internet on June 19, 2006.

Dogg Chit is an album by Tha Dogg Pound. Guests include Too Short, Snoop Dogg, BG Knocc Out, Dresta, RBX, The Game, and others. The cover for Dogg Chit is similar to Dogg Pound's debut Dogg Food.
The first single is "Vibe" featuring Snoop Dogg, and a music video has been made for it.
It sold 11,837 copies in its first week, certifying it for the 77th spot on the US Billboard 200[1]. The Album has sold 75,000 copies in the states and 100,000 copies worldwide.
It debuted 15th on the Canada R&B album chart. [2]

Let's Ryde 2Night EP is an album by Tha Dogg Pound. It was released online as an iTunes exclusive after Tha Dogg Pound's deal with Cash Money Records was postponed. The featured single Ch-Ching was intended for their 100 Wayz album, but was released on Let's Ryde 2Night along with several other new songs as well a few unreleased Dogg Pound tracks that were originally recorded for Cali Iz Active.
